Kopan November Course 2010

This is my last photograph with Khen Rinpoche before his passing.  I will always treasure Rinpoche's kindness and compassion towards me.  I am sure those of you who met him will feel the same.  In the photo is the reincarnation of Geshe Lama Konchog.

Choeding Rinpoche in Pokhara

Choeding Rinpoche's small monastery in the last year has taken on the responsibility of educating 14 new monks.  They need Dharma and secular education,  and they also need feeding!  Rinpoche has asked me to appeal to my students and others for help.  It costs $365 per year to support one monk.  If you can help, please make a donation through my paypal account on my webpage - http://www.venerable-namgyel.com

Thanks so much for your kind and open heart.

I have been busy....

The month in Adelaide was spent busily teaching and we also had a fundraiser for the hospices in the SA region, which was a really nice morning with good hearted people.
Ten days ago I flew from Adelaide to Kathmandu and taught a group of business people in kopan monastery.  After the group left Kathmandu, I travelled to Pokhara to see Choeding Rinpoche and then found out I couldn't get back to Kathmandu because of fog.  It took six and a half hours to drive back in a taxi as I was flying out the next day, returning to Adelaide.  Next day, the flight to Singapore was late, because of fog!
Anyway, I am back in Adelaide and looking forward to Healing Disturbing Emotions starting on Wednesday.  Come along if you can!
