Gosh that was a long journey and very chaotic when arriving at nearly 2am in Mumbai. Now I have rested for a day and have been thinking back over my time in Wellington, I remembered how there was a good crowd of very interested, engaged people listening to the teachings.
By the way, I really enjoyed Wellington, as a city. Ok, so that's it for the year and I am now going into "teaching hibernation" until March when I return to Tushita Dharamsala for a lam rim course.
Merry Christmas and a very happy and healthy new year to you all.
The teachings finished in Adelaide yesterday with a Vajrasattva purification day followed by an afternoon tea. There were lots of delicious cakes and biscuits and it "sounded" as though people really enjoyed themselves. I sat in the corridor and offered an ear to those who needed an ear. We finished around 6pm with Lyndy and Cathy making a very kind, heartfelt speech, apparently not wanting to let me go....then two students had appeared who wanted to take refuge, which I had given the day before. They were very sincere and so at the last minute I ended up giving refuge, which seems to me a very auspicious way to finish my time at Buddha House. A sincere thank you to all the volunteers who took care of me and helped me during my visit to Adelaide.
Tuesday the 13th December, the flight is through Sydney to Wellington and then teaching on Friday evening, The Art of Happiness and a weekend workshop on Healing Disturbing Emotions. Organised by LKPY.
Take care and keep developing the good heart. Please.
