Developing Boundless Love
In Buddhism we say all beings are interconnected, but how does it feel in your heart? That soft, tender loving-kindness sits in your heart which is often described as expansive and boundless.  What are the walls we build around us to feel safe yet these walls only lead us to feel more alone and depressed?
Over three evenings, our beloved Venerable Namgyel will return to Z├╝rich to guide and help us explore this essential topic.

19th NOVEMBER

19 November 2019

Lhabab Duchen is the 'Festival of the Descent from the Heaven Realm of 33' and one of the four major Buddhist festivals.
Buddha’s mother Mayadevi was reborn in the Heaven Realm of 33. To repay her kindness and to liberate her and to benefit the gods, Buddha spent three months teaching in the realm of the gods. When he was about to return to this world Indra and Brahma manifested three staircases. As the Buddha walked down the central one they accompanied him to his left and right carrying umbrellas to honor him. He descended to earth in Sankisa which is located in modern Uttar Pradesh, India and is counted among the eight holy places.
